Beijing (Web Desk): Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has spoken positively about his recent discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, describing them as “constructive”, and noting that both sides reaffirmed Iran’s entitlement to defend its national sovereignty.
In a post shared on X, Iran’s top diplomat said Tehran welcomes a four-point proposal presented by Beijing on “upholding and promoting regional peace and stability”.
“The Iranian side trusts the Chinese side and expects the Chinese side to continue playing a positive role in promoting peace and stopping war, and supports the establishment of a new postwar regional architecture that can coordinate development and security,” FM Araghchi added.
