Harare (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team triumphed in the final of the U-19 Tri-Nation Series, defeating Zimbabwe by 9 wickets to claim the coveted title. This victory adds another feather to Pakistan's cap after their win in the Asia Cup earlier.

The match took place in Harare, where Zimbabwe batted first and was dismissed for just 158 runs in the 45th over. Pakistan's bowlers dominated the innings, restricting Zimbabwe to a modest total.

In response, Pakistan chased down the target comfortably, achieving it in just 17 overs, with only one wicket lost. The standout performer was Sameer Munhas, the Pakistani opener, who played a sensational knock of 114 runs, leading the team to victory. His innings was a testament to his skill and composure under pressure.

Mohammad Shayan, the other opening batsman, contributed with 38 runs and remained unbeaten. Meanwhile, Usman Khan was also not out, contributing 2 runs to the total.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, congratulated the young team for their excellent performance throughout the series.
