Karachi: (Web Desk): The funeral prayers of first chief of air staff Air Marshal Asghar Khan were offered today (Saturday), at the Nur Khan Air Base.
It is pertinent to remember that Air Marshal Asghar Khan at the age of 96, passed away on Friday morning at CMH Rawalpindi, will be laid to rest in his native village Nawanshehr, Abbottabad later today.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other government and military dignitaries attended the state funeral Marshal Asghar Khan.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, and other top civilian and military officials also attended the funeral.
