Tehran (Web Desk): Iran has sent its official response on the US proposals to Pakistan. According to Iranian media, Tehran has rejected the immediate ceasefire proposal and emphasized that a permanent and complete end to the conflict is necessary.
The response reportedly includes ten key points, which focus on ending regional disputes, establishing rules for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, lifting international sanctions, and rebuilding damages caused by US and Israeli attacks.
Tensions in the region have escalated following US and Israeli military actions against Iran and Tehran’s retaliatory strikes.
The situation became more critical after Iran announced the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan is actively playing a mediating role, conveying proposals between Iran and the US-Israel bloc to help achieve a resolution.
Earlier, the US had shared a 15-point proposal with Pakistan, which was then forwarded to Iran, and Tehran has now submitted its response.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baqai, stated that the country has prepared its official response, finalized the replies, and will announce full details at the designated time.
He added that Iran’s demands have also been communicated through mediation channels in line with national interests.
