T20I tri-series: Pakistan defeat UAE by 31 runs

Sharjah (Web Desk): In the fifth and final match of the tri-nation T20 series held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a total of 171 runs for the loss of five wickets.

In response, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) managed to score only 140 runs for the loss of seven wickets, falling short of the target. Ali Shan Sharafu was the top scorer for UAE with an impressive 68 runs, but his efforts were not enough to secure victory for his team.

Other notable contributions from the UAE batsmen included captain Mohammad Wasim scoring 19 runs, Prashar 18 not out, Haider Ali 12, Ethan De Souza 9, Asif Khan 7, and Harshit Koshak 3. Rahul Chopra was dismissed without scoring.

Pakistan’s bowling was led by Abrar Ahmed, who took four wickets, while Mohammad Nawaz and Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed one wicket each.
