Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan dropped by Rs500 on Tuesday, settling at Rs283,200, down from Rs283,700 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs429, falling to Rs242,798 from Rs243,227.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also experienced a decline, dropping to Rs222,565 from Rs222,958.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged, with per tola silver staying at Rs3,430 and the 10-gram silver rate remaining steady at Rs2,940.67.
Moreover, in the international market, the price of gold fell by $5, now standing at $2,736 per ounce, according to the association.
