Riyadh / Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which he strongly condemned the recent drone attack targeting the UAE state of Fujairah.
During the call, the Saudi crown prince described the attack, which was blamed on Iran, as unjustified and a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
He assured the Emirati president that Saudi Arabia stands in complete solidarity with the United Arab Emirates during this difficult time and is fully prepared to provide every possible form of support for the defense and security of the brotherly nation.
According to Arab media reports, a drone strike targeted the oil industry zone in Fujairah, triggering a major fire within the facility.
The attack left three Indian nationals injured, who were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Officials said firefighters battled the blaze for several hours before successfully bringing the fire under control in the oil zone.
The two leaders also discussed the overall security situation in the region and reaffirmed their determination that acts of terrorism and sabotage would not weaken the resolve of their countries.
