Gold price increases by Rs7,800, reaches Rs350,000 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices surged sharply in the domestic market on Monday, with 24 karat gold climbing by Rs7,800 per tola to settle at Rs350,000, compared to Rs342,200 recorded during the previous session.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the rate for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also witnessed a notable uptick of Rs6,687, reaching Rs300,068, while the 22 karat variant was priced at Rs275,072 after an increase of Rs6,130.

Silver prices followed suit, with per tola silver rising by Rs43 to Rs3,425. The price for 10 grams of silver increased by Rs37, closing at Rs2,936.

In the international market, gold continued its upward trajectory, gaining $76 to reach $3,316 per ounce. International silver prices edged higher as well, up by $0.43 to $32.43 per ounce.
