Mumbai (Web Desk): In the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, India put England under pressure by setting a challenging target to chase.

The match, played in Mumbai, saw England captain Harry Brook win the toss and opt to field first, giving India the opportunity to bat.

India posted 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sanju Samson starred with a brilliant 89 runs, while Shivam Dubey contributed 43, Ishan Kishan 39, Hardik Pandya 27, Tilak Varma 21, and Suryakumar Yadav 11.

For England, Will Jacks and Adil Rashid were the standout bowlers, each picking up 2 wickets.

In the tournament’s first semi-final, New Zealand defeated South Africa to secure a place in the final.

The T20 World Cup 2026 final is scheduled to be played on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
