South Indian actress Nayanthara buys Luxury duplex in Chennai for Rs31.5 crore

Mumbai  (Web Desk): South Indian film actress Nayanthara, known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, has purchased a luxury duplex apartment in the upscale Poes Garden area of Chennai for approximately ₹31.5 crore.

According to reports, the 42-year-old actress and her husband Vignesh acquired the apartment on the fourth and fifth floors of the Legacy Project in the Teynampet neighborhood, one of the city’s most fashionable and high-profile locations.

The area is notable for housing prominent figures, including South Indian superstar Rajinikanth and the late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.

Property records show that the duplex has a super built-up area of 14,369 sq ft, with an undivided land share of 5,308 sq ft. The agreement reflects a cost of approximately ₹21,946 per sq ft, making it one of Chennai’s high-value luxury residences.
