Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable increase of Rs700, with the per tola rate rising to Rs307,000 on Wednesday, up from Rs306,300 the previous day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs601, reaching Rs263,203, compared to Rs262,602.
The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also experienced a rise of Rs551, moving to Rs241,278 from Rs240,727.
Silver prices also reflected upward movement, with the per tola price increasing by Rs54, bringing it to Rs3,369, while the 10-gram silver rate saw a hike of Rs46, settling at Rs2,888.
In the international market, the price of gold edged up by $5, reaching $2,921 from $2,916, while silver gained $0.52, rising to $32.32 from $31.80.
