4.9 magnitude earthquake hits Lahore, surrounding areas

Lahore (Web Desk): Earthquake tremors were felt in Lahore and surrounding areas, causing panic among residents.

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.9 on the Richter scale with a depth of 18 kilometers. Initial reports indicate that the epicenter was located in a border region of Indian-administered Kashmir.

The tremors were also felt in nearby areas, prompting people to rush out of homes and offices as a precaution.

However, no immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received so far.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
