Rawalpindi (Web Desk): As part of his official visit to Pakistan, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by senior ministers, visited the Global Industrial and Defence Solutions (GIDS) facility, a major step towards strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the fields of defense, technology, and industrial development.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon arrival at the GIDS facility, President Mirziyoyev and his delegation were warmly welcomed by Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who personally led the tour and briefed the visitors on the various advancements and capabilities of Pakistan's indigenous defense production.
