Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Super League (PSL) authorities have announced the auction date for the Multan Sultans franchise. According to PSL officials, the auction will be held on February 9 in Lahore.
Five bidders, selected by the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) bid committee, will compete for ownership rights of the Multan Sultans. The PCB received six proposals by the deadline, and after thorough evaluation, five bidders were deemed technically eligible to participate in the auction.
It is worth noting that the former owner, Ali Khan Tareen, declined to renew the 10-year ownership agreement, prompting the PCB to announce the auction for the franchise.
