Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices rose significantly in the local market on Thursday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs14,800, reaching Rs529,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs 12,689 to Rs453,671, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs11,632 to Rs415,880.
Silver prices also saw an upward trend, with per tola silver increasing by Rs 109 to Rs 9,255, and 10 grams of silver rising by Rs93 to Rs7,934.
In the international market, gold prices surged by $148 to $5,064 per ounce, and silver prices increased by $1.09 to $87.80 per ounce.
