Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): All educational institutes across the country will reopen on September 15.
The decision was taken in a conference of provincial education ministers under the chair of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan on Wednesday rose to 281,493.
Overall, 122,373 cases were reported in Sindh, 93,571 in Punjab, 34,324 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,780 in Balochistan, 15,122 in Islamabad, 2,218 in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and 2,105 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to the government's Covid-19 portal, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached 6,028.
The National Command and Operation Center’s (NCOC) data shows that there has been an improvement in the number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country with figure now reaching 254,684.
