Lahore (Staff Report): West Indies test series will be the final test series for current skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan said today (Wednesday).
PCB chairman stated that he had not spoken with Misbah regarding the retirement but there was an understating that Pakistan’s Test captain will retire after the upcoming Test series in the Caribbean.
The PCB chairman added that there was no need to speak with Misbah regarding this.
There has been confusion regarding Misbah’s retirement with no definite timeframe given by the Test skipper for this.
In March 2016, Misbah had said he would make a decision regarding his retirement after meeting with Shahryar Khan.
