Karachi (Web Desk): The domestic bullion market recorded another upswing on Saturday as the value of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,100, with the per tola price settling at Rs409,878 against Rs407,778 a day earlier, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold advanced by Rs1,801 to Rs351,404 from the earlier Rs349,603, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold moved up by Rs1,651, reaching Rs322,132 compared to Rs320,481 previously.
Silver rates followed the same trend, with a per tola increase of Rs57, taking the new rate to Rs4,896, whereas the cost of 10 grams rose by Rs49, bringing it to Rs4,197.
In the international markets, gold gained US$21 to close at US$3,886 per ounce, while silver climbed by US$0.57 to finish at US$47.97.
