Gold price decreases by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant drop on Tuesday, with the value of 24-karat gold declining by Rs3,500 per tola to reach Rs420,362, compared to Rs423,862 recorded on the previous trading day, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also registered a decrease of Rs3,001, bringing it down to Rs360,392, while the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold slipped by Rs2,859 to Rs 330,263.

The downward trend mirrored the global market, where international gold prices fell by $35, settling at $3,980 per ounce. Silver prices also dropped in both domestic and international markets.

In Pakistan, the per tola price of silver was reduced by Rs130 to Rs5,022, and the rate for 10 grams went down by Rs112 to Rs4,305. Internationally, silver experienced a decline of $1.30, trading at $47.60 per ounce, as reported by the association.
