Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices witnessed a modest increase across Pakistan on Thursday, making the precious metal more expensive in local markets.
According to the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs1,523, bringing the new rate to Rs469,285.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,305 and now stands at Rs423,035.
The upward trend was also reflected in the international market, where gold gained $14.49 per ounce to reach $4,468.
Market observers say fluctuations in global bullion prices continue to influence domestic gold rates, resulting in periodic changes in the local market.
