Islamabad (Web Desk): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Saturday that Pakistan is increasingly being recognized by the international community as a champion of peace, adding that the country's efforts to promote regional stability have earned global acknowledgement.
Addressing a ceremony in Sialkot, the minister said the world also recognizes Pakistan's success in last year's Marka-e-Haq, describing it as a significant achievement that strengthened the country's standing on the international stage.
Khawaja Asif said Pakistan's accomplishments in both times of conflict and peace reflect the nation's resilience, determination and commitment to safeguarding its interests while pursuing stability.
He expressed confidence that these achievements would be remembered as defining moments in the country's history.
The defence minister added that Pakistan's contributions to peace and its successes in defending national interests would be recorded in history in golden words, calling them a source of pride for the nation.
