Istanbul (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has honoured the memory of the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Shaheed Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, describing him as a remarkable leader whose wisdom, statesmanship and enduring legacy will continue to inspire future generations in Iran and across the region.
In a statement posted on his X account, the prime minister said he attended the funeral ceremony of Shaheed Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, where he offered his respects and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of Iran on behalf of the Government and citizens of Pakistan.
He further affirmed that Pakistan, as a close and brotherly neighbour, stands in solidarity with Iran and shares its grief during this difficult time of national mourning.
