Tehran/Washington: The flames of conflict in the Middle East have surged uncontrollably after Iran launched a major military operation against the United States and Israel in a single day, destroying a substantial portion of the US aerial fleet, including three advanced fighter jets.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared the day as “the darkest day for America.”
According to the IRGC, their state-of-the-art defense systems dealt a severe blow to the US Air Force.
In one day, three of America’s latest fighter jets were downed, while five US drones and two cruise missiles were destroyed midair.
Reports indicate that the crew of one aircraft could not eject safely, and conflicting accounts have emerged regarding the capture of a pilot. Iranian territory has reportedly become a deadly trap for adversaries, with any intrusion equated to near-certain death.
Meanwhile, Iran has initiated a new and intense missile offensive against Israel, overwhelming the country’s defense systems. Several homes in the Israeli city of Rosh HaAyin were completely destroyed by missile strikes, with debris scattered across the streets.
Reports from various Israeli locations indicate severe fires and structural collapses following the attacks.
In response to US President Donald Trump’s threat to target Iranian power plants, Tehran issued a final warning, stating that any attack on its energy facilities would trigger retaliation against the region’s entire energy infrastructure.
“We will not only defend ourselves but will also neutralize all enemy energy sources,” officials warned.
