Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, with revised rates for petrol and high-speed diesel coming into effect from September 4.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs2.84 per litre, taking the new price to Rs349 per litre.
The government has also increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs2.28 per litre. Following the latest adjustment, diesel will now be sold at Rs374.31 per litre.
The notification stated that the revised prices of petrol and diesel will remain applicable from September 4.
