Multan (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday visited the Qasim Bela Relief Camp in Multan where she met families displaced by the devastating floods following one of the largest surges in the history of the Chenab River.

She spent time with the women and children at the camp, offering words of comfort and assuring them that the government would extend full support, including the rebuilding of their damaged homes.

CM Maryam also shared the activity on her social media handle X.

The Punjab CM sat among the affected families, mingling with them in a warm and friendly manner. 
She engaged with children, asked them questions about their studies, and shared moments of joy by giving them chocolates, biscuits, school bags, and uniforms.

Maryam Nawaz even helped some of the children wear new pairs of shoes, adding to their excitement.

The Punjab CM also distributed gifts among women, including clothes, and promised that the provincial government would stand by them until their lives were restored to normalcy.
