New Delhi (Web Desk): Strong earthquake tremors were felt in different areas of India and Nepal. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.2 on the Richter scale. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km and the epicentre was in Nepal.
According to the National Center for Seismology, strong aftershocks were felt in the Delhi-NCR region and several parts of North India today after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck Nepal.
This was the second consecutive earthquake to hit the country with the first shock measuring 4.2 at 2:20 pm. According to Indian media, earthquake tremors have been felt in many cities including New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh.
According to media reports, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred in India yesterday as well.
