Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday approved six holidays starting May 10 to May 16 for all public and private employees on Eidul Fitr.
Earlier, the National Command Operation Center (NCOC) had proposed the government to announce week-long Eid holidays starting May 10 to May 16, in wake of the rapid surge in coronavirus cases across the country.
The proposal for week-long holidays had been sent to the Ministry of Interior.
The NCOC, in a statement, also announced “stay home stay safe strategy” for mobility control from May 8 to 16 which included the Eid holidays.
