Operation Ghazab lil-Haq: Info minister says 67 Afghan Taliban operatives killed in latest repulsive attacks

Islamabad (Web Desk): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said that 67 Afghan Taliban operatives were killed and scores of other injured as security forces effectively repulsed physical attacks of Afghan Taliban at different location in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

In updates shared on his X account regarding Operation Ghazab lil Haq, the minister stated that Afghan Taliban launched attacked on 16 sites in northern Balochistan, including Qilla Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman districts, and carried out fire raids on 25 additional positions. All offensives were repelled, resulting in the deaths of 27 militants and injuries to several others.

During these operations, one soldier from FC Balochistan North sacrificed his life defending the country, while five others sustained injuries.

In KP, militants attempted a physical attack at a single location and conducted fire raids at 12 more sites. Security forces successfully repelled all actions without suffering any casualties, while 40 Taliban operatives were reported killed in the overnight operations.

The information minister praised the courage and resilience of the troops, emphasizing that Pakistan’s security forces continue to take decisive action to safeguard the nation from militant threats.
