Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said on Tuesday that the security forces have killed 464 combatants of the Afghan Taliban regime, destroyed their 188 posts, and captured 31 others during Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, launched following “unprovoked action” from across the border.
Giving a situation report issued at 4:00pm, the minister said the number of injured Afghan operatives has surpassed 665 since the beginning of the offensive, also referred to as “Righteous Fury.”
Tarar added that approximately 192 pieces of heavy military equipment — including tanks, armored carriers, and artillery units — were destroyed.
The information minister further noted that air operations were carried out effectively, striking nearly 56 sites across Afghan territory.
