Islamabad (Web Desk): A tragic incident unfolded in Islamabad’s G-13 Sector on Monday when 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousaf was shot and killed inside her home.
According to police sources, the young social media influencer was attacked at close range by an unidentified assailant who entered the house and opened fire before quickly fleeing the scene.
The crime occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station and has since sparked widespread shock and grief.
Sana Yousaf, originally from Chitral, had gained immense popularity on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where she was followed by millions for her energetic and engaging content.
Her body was moved to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination to determine further forensic details that may aid in the investigation.
Initial police investigations suggest that the suspect may have been present in the house as a guest before carrying out the attack. Authorities confirmed that multiple gunshots were fired at the victim before the suspect escaped.
Law enforcement officials are continuing to probe the case and have yet to make an arrest. Multiple possible motives are being considered, including personal conflicts, online harassment, and even potential honor-related motives, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
Police have stated they are working to identify and apprehend the suspect as soon as possible.
