Lahore: World Bicycle Day is being observed today.
The theme of this year is “Promoting Health, Equity, and Sustainability through Cycling".
In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly announced to celebrate World Bicycle Day every year on June 3.
The day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle which is a simple, affordable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation.
