Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend for a second consecutive day, with another sharp increase recorded in the local bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs12,200, taking it to Rs440,936.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs10,459, reaching Rs378,031.
The association said the rally was in line with gains in the international market, where gold rose by $122 per ounce to settle at $4,185.
It is worth mentioning that the previous trading session also witnessed a significant increase, with the price of gold per tola rising by Rs9,100, extending the strong upward momentum for a second straight day.
