Over 200,000 Pakistanis complete Hajj registration in first 11 days

Islamabad (Web Desk): More than 200,000 aspiring pilgrims have completed their online registration for Hajj during the first 11 days of the registration process, reflecting strong public interest in the pilgrimage.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, over 180,000 applicants registered through the official web portal, while another 24,000 completed the process using the mobile application.

The ministry said more than 154,000 applicants opted for the government Hajj scheme, whereas around 49,000 chose the private Hajj scheme.

Provincial data showed that Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations with 95,000 applicants, followed by Sindh with 63,000, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 28,000, and Islamabad with 9,000.

The ministry further stated that 5,500 people registered from Balochistan, 1,200 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 600 from Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the latest figures, the registered applicants include 119,000 men and 84,500 women.
