Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam punjab chief Maulana Syed Mahmood Mian passes away

Lahore (Web Desk): Maulana Syed Mahmood Mian Raza-e-Ilahi, Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Punjab, has passed away. His funeral prayer will be held today at 10:00 AM at Jamia Madina Jadeed, Raiwind Road, Lahore.

Maulana Mahmood Mian was widely respected in religious circles as a distinguished scholar of Hadith, a renowned Islamic teacher, and a devoted educator. His passing is being mourned across the religious community.

JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed deep sorrow over the loss, saying in his condolence message:
“Maulana Syed Mahmood Mian dedicated his entire life to the service of Islamic knowledge. He was a scholarly, humble, and upright figure. His death is a significant loss to the religious community. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, students, and all members of JUI.”
