Islamabad (Web Desk): Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will begin his first-ever state visit to Pakistan on Tuesday, marking an important step in diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
He is traveling with a senior delegation that includes prominent cabinet ministers and other top officials.
During his two-day visit, President Tokayev is scheduled to call on President Asif Ali Zardari, engage in formal talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and deliver remarks at the Pakistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum.
The visit is being viewed as a timely and meaningful opportunity for both nations to thoroughly assess their existing relationship and identify fresh areas for cooperation.
Discussions will center on expanding trade, strengthening transport and logistics links, boosting regional connectivity, and promoting closer ties between the people of both countries.
The two sides will also explore ways to coordinate more closely in regional and international forums.
