Gold price increases by Rs200 per tola

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The cost of 24-karat gold rose by Rs200, reaching Rs292,400 per tola, a slight increase from the previous day's price of Rs292,200.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs171, settling at Rs250,685, up from Rs250,514.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also climbed, reaching Rs229,802 from Rs229,646.
In contrast, silver prices took a downturn. The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs5 to Rs3,265, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs4, bringing it to Rs2,799.

On the international front, gold's price saw a minor rise, gaining $2 to reach $2,799 from $2,797.

This shift in the global market could have played a role in influencing the local price trends.
