Pakistan sends C-130 relief aircraft to Sri Lanka amid severe floods

Colombo  (Web Desk): Following the special directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, a C-130 special aircraft carrying a relief team and essential supplies has arrived in Sri Lanka to assist victims of the recent devastating floods.

The Pakistan Army's Search and Rescue Team immediately began relief operations upon arrival. The Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Ports and Pakistan's High Commissioner to Sri Lanka warmly welcomed the team and praised their efforts.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government of Pakistan will send an additional 200 tons of relief supplies via sea route to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Ports thanked the Pakistani High Commissioner and relief team, assuring full cooperation in the ongoing efforts.

This initiative highlights Pakistan's unwavering support for Sri Lanka during times of crisis.
