Gold price increases by Rs700 per tola in Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a notable increase of Rs700, reaching Rs275,200 on Tuesday, up from Rs274,500.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs600, reaching Rs235,940, compared to its previous price of Rs235,340.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an uptick, rising by Rs550 to Rs216,278, from Rs215,728.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged, with per tola silver still priced at Rs 3,400, and the cost for 10 grams of silver staying steady at Rs 2,914.95.

In the international market, the price of gold increased slightly by $7, climbing from $2,633 to $2,640 per ounce, the association reported.
