Riyadh (Web Desk): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
According to a statement issued by the according to a statement issued by Pakistan’s IT ministry, the MoU was formally signed by Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Engineer Majed Al-Mazyed, Governor of Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).
The agreement focuses on strengthening the protection of cyberspace and safeguarding the critical interests of both nations. It also provides a framework for sharing technical knowledge and professional expertise to help tackle new and evolving cyber threats.
Officials expect the MoU to broaden cybersecurity collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and contribute to stronger cooperation on cybersecurity at both the bilateral and international levels.
