Beijing (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, during which both leaders expressed satisfaction over the ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and Tajikistan in various areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere in Beijing, the two sides agreed to deepen collaboration across multiple sectors, including trade and investment, regional connectivity, energy, security, cultural exchanges, and enhanced interaction between the peoples of both countries.
They reaffirmed their shared commitment to further reinforce the bilateral relationship, which is anchored in common cultural, historical, and religious values.
In addition to bilateral matters, PM Shehbaz and President Emomali Rahmon also exchanged views on regional and international developments of shared concern, underscoring their mutual interest in promoting peace, stability, and development in the region.
