Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Pakistan set 185-run target for Bangladesh on fourth day of second Test match on Monday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

The hosts were bowled out for 172.

Pakistan started the day on 9/2 and had a decent start courtesy of Saim Ayub and skipper Shan Masood, adding 38 runs.

Taskin Ahmed took Ayub’s wicket after 20 runs off 35 balls.

Shan Masood scored 28, Babar Azam was dismissed for 11, Saud Shakeel scored 2 and Abdullah Shafique 3 runs, while Khurram Shehzad were dismissed for zero.

Bangladesh’s Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana wrecked havoc, picking five and four wickets, respectively.

Earlier, Bangladesh's first innings saw them scoring 262 runs in pursuit of Pakistan's 274, resulting in their dismissal.

For Pakistan, Khurram Shehzad took 6 wickets, while Mir Hamza and Salman Ali Agha each took 2 wickets.

On the third day, Pakistani bowlers made a remarkable comeback, with Khurram Shehzad and Mir Hamza aggressively dismissing Bangladesh's top 6 batsmen for just 26 runs.

From Bangladesh, Shadman Islam scored 10, captain Naimur Hasan Shanto 4, Mushfiqur Rahim 3, Shakib Al Hasan 2, and Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque were out for 1 run each.

Later, Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz formed a 7th-wicket partnership of 165 runs, with Mehidy scoring 78 and Litton Das 138, enabling Bangladesh's comeback in the match. Taskin Ahmed and Naeem Hasan were dismissed for 1 and 0 runs, respectively.

Bangladesh lead the two-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test, also held in Rawalpindi last week.
