Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has announced an acceleration of military operations against Iran, warning that recent strikes are only the beginning and that a much larger “wave” of action is yet to come.

Speaking at an event in Washington and later addressing the media at the White House, President Trump emphasized that the United States will never allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.

He revealed that 49 key leaders of the Iranian regime have been killed so far in ongoing operations.
“We have not hit them as hard as we could; the big wave is still ahead, and a major strike is imminent,” he stated.

Defending the US military campaign, President Trump cited the rapid expansion of Iran’s ballistic missile program, describing it as a serious threat to global peace.

He stressed that stopping Iran’s long-range missiles has become unavoidable and reiterated that US operations will continue until the threat is fully neutralized.

Responding to questions about the duration of the conflict and the potential deployment of ground troops, President Trump outlined key points.

He said he had initially anticipated the operation would take four weeks but noted that progress has exceeded expectations.

When asked about sending ground forces, he refrained from ruling it out, stating, “Unlike previous presidents, I will not say we won’t deploy ground troops. While it does not appear necessary at the moment, it may become something we need to do.”
