Karachi (Web Desk): On the third business day of the week, gold prices saw a notable decline in Pakistan’s local bullion markets. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 600 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 356,200 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs. 514, with the new rate recorded at Rs. 305,384.

Experts attribute the decline to a downward trend in international gold prices, which has had a direct impact on local rates.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, on the first day of the new fiscal year, gold prices had surged sharply, with a Rs. 6,600 per tola increase, making today’s drop a significant reversal.
