Pakistan regards Taiwan as inalienable part of China: FO

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan on Friday once again affirmed its steadfast commitment to the One-China principle, declaring that it recognizes Taiwan as an inalienable part of China.

Responding to questions from the media concerning the latest developments in the Taiwan Strait, Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi emphasized the close and enduring bond between Pakistan and China, calling the two countries “iron-clad friends and all-weather strategic cooperative partners.”

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s consistent backing of China on issues central to its national interests, including Taiwan.

 “We will continue to adhere to the One-China principle and regard Taiwan as an inalienable part of China,” the FO spokesperson said.
