Islamabad (Web Desk): Under the Australia Awards Program, Pakistani citizens are being offered fully funded scholarships to pursue Master’s level studies in Australia. These scholarships are available for academic programs starting in 2027.
The program aims to enhance education, build leadership capacity, and strengthen ties between Australia and Pakistan. Candidates are selected based on academic qualifications, professional experience, and leadership potential. Special encouragement is extended to women, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups to apply.
Priority sectors include climate change, women and girls’ empowerment, agriculture, water resource management, infrastructure, and inclusive economic development. Applicants must be Pakistani citizens residing in Pakistan, have completed 16 years of education, and possess at least five years of relevant professional experience.
The age limit for applicants is 45 years.
Selected scholars will receive full tuition fees, return airfare, living allowances, health insurance, orientation programs, and research fieldwork support. Upon completion, scholars are required to return to Pakistan and contribute to national development for a minimum of two years.
Applications opened on February 1, 2026, and will close on April 30, 2026. Applications can be submitted exclusively through the online OASIS portal.
