Dera Ismail Khan (Web Desk): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's cousin Sardar Saqlain Khan was gunned down in Kulachi tehsil of Dera Ismail (DI) Khan.
Police reports indicate that unidentified assailants opened fire on Saqlain Khan, resulting in fatal injuries at the scene.
Saqlain Khan was the son of Sardar Ismail Khan Gandapur and brother of Sardar Faridun Khan Gandapur, who had previously contested in the provincial assembly elections.
Authorities carried out a post-mortem examination, and the body was later returned to the family for burial.
An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack, though the reasons behind the shooting remain unclear.

In his condolence message, the KP governor condemned the incident, stating that the target killing of Sardar Saqlain in a shooting incident was highly alarming and warrants a thorough investigation.

He also prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.
The KP governor called for an investigation into the incident to bring those responsible to justice.
