Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced new prices for petroleum products, with a slight increase in the rates of petrol and diesel.
According to a notification issued by the government, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs1.08 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs343.87 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has also gone up by 51 paisas per litre. Following the increase, diesel will now be sold at Rs370.92 per litre.
The notification stated that the revised prices of petrol and diesel will come into effect from September 2.
