Instagram launches 'Watch History' feature like TikTok

California (Web Desk): Instagram has introduced a new feature called 'Watch History,' allowing users to revisit videos and content they have previously viewed, similar to TikTok's functionality.

In a video message, Instagram's founder explained that users can now access their 'Watch History' to see all the content they've previously watched.

Previously, Instagram did not have such a feature, and once a video or reel was scrolled past, it was impossible to access it again. However, with the new 'Watch History' feature, users can now review their past videos and content.

This feature is particularly useful for users who enjoy watching Reels and occasionally miss a video due to accidental scrolling or the app refreshing.

To use the feature, Instagram's founder instructed users to go to "Your Activity" in the settings and click on "Watch History." From there, they can view a list of all the videos they've watched.

The most recently watched videos will appear at the top, while older videos and other content will be listed below. Additionally, users can select a specific date to view videos watched on that day.

This new feature provides users with more control over their Instagram viewing experience, allowing them to easily revisit content they've previously watched.
