Hong Kong (Web Desk): In a spectacular display of cricket, Pakistan on Friday decisively defeated their longstanding rivals India by six wickets in the Hong Kong Sixes, earning a place in the quarter-finals.

Asif Ali played a pivotal role, notching up a swift fifty, which included two fours and an impressive seven sixes before he was retired.

Chasing a target of 120 runs in six overs, Pakistan began their innings with Mohammad Akhlaq and Asif.
While Akhlaq started slowly, Asif's explosive batting kept the momentum going. Akhlaq later found his rhythm, scoring 40 runs off just 12 deliveries, featuring three boundaries and four sixes.

Captain Faheem Ashraf capped off the innings with a rapid-fire 22 runs from five balls, leading his team to victory.

With this win, Pakistan has maintained an unbeaten streak in the tournament, having previously overcome the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On the bowling side, Pakistan  allowed 119 runs while claiming two wickets, with Faheem Ashraf standing out by taking two wickets for 50 runs.

Bharat Chipli, the seasoned former Indian First Class cricketer, impressed with a quickfire 53 off 16 balls, but his efforts fell short of turning the tide.
