Iran rejects Trump nuclear remarks, terms his statements as 'ridiculous' and 'delusional talk'

Tehran (Web Desk): Iran has strongly rejected claims made by US President Donald Trump regarding the destruction of Iranian nuclear facilities and the sinking of naval vessels, describing his statements as “ridiculous” and “delusional talk.”

Iranian military leadership and the Foreign Ministry have issued a stern warning to Washington, urging it to “come to its senses” and avoid ignoring established facts.

Senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) addressed an emergency press briefing, firmly dismissing Trump’s assertions.

They said the claim that US B-2 bombers had obliterated Iranian facilities sounded like a Hollywood script, not reality.

The Iranian officials insisted that all nuclear installations remain secure and fully operational, adding that the country’s defence systems are on high alert.

They further stated that such remarks resemble propaganda tactics from historical authoritarian eras, aimed at concealing political and strategic failures.

An Iranian naval spokesperson also rejected the claim that 159 vessels had been sunk, calling it “the biggest lie of the century.”

He asserted that Iran’s naval forces are currently more powerful and present than ever in the Gulf region, challenging the US to present any satellite imagery or credible evidence to support its claims.

In a separate statement, Tehran said that the US should abandon any illusion of turning Iran into “another Venezuela.”

The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that Trump’s rhetoric is not grounded in facts but is part of psychological warfare and political propaganda.
